This marks the seventh consecutive year that Acden has had the opportunity to contribute to the Wood Buffalo Food Bank Association (WBFBA), and the fifth year in a row that this amount has reached $10,000.

The WBFBA provides the programs, services and education necessary to ensure food security for the citizens of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

"We at Acden believe every individual has the right to their basic needs; food is fundamental to this equation," says Garry Flett, Acden's President & CEO. "Being able to contribute to the health and prosperity of our local people has always been a priority to us, and we are thankful we can continue this tradition into our seventh year".

“It is only through the ongoing committed support of companies such as Acden that we can ensure those in our community who need our assistance have it,” claims Arianna Johnson, Executive Director, Wood Buffalo Food Bank Association. “Acden’s longstanding support of our agency and the work we do has made it possible for us to ensure we have the resources we need today and can plan for the future of our programs and services.”
