The Centre of Hope (COH) is located in the heart of downtown Fort McMurray. It is a daytime drop-in centre for those living in homelessness in our community.

Practicing from a client centered approach, their goal is to assist individuals in moving forward toward self-sufficiency in their lives.

All proceeds raised at the Acden Fleet Show & Shine go towards funding the ‘Drop in’ at the COH. The ‘Drop In’ provides COH patrons with a safe place to have a meal, receive food, clothing, self-care items, receive social support and be transported to appointments. The ‘Drop In’ relies entirely on community donations and does not receive other sources of funding. Unlike other areas where homeless populations are often transient in nature, the majority of our patrons are fellow Fort McMurry Wood Buffalo community members.
