Acden Environment Awards Tournament Proceeds to KidSport Wood Buffalo

Acden Environment is proud to announce its award of proceeds raised in the amount of $1703.50 to KidSport Wood Buffalo after hosting a chipping challenge during the Fort McMurray Construction Association Golf Tournament in the fall.

KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Since its creation in 1993, over 530,000 kids across the country have been given the chance to play sports through KidSport grants and sport introduction programming.

“It’s events like this that give us the opportunity to not just get involved locally, but give back as well,” says Craig Warden, General Manager, Acden Environment. “By committing to the athletic pursuits of children as a community, we are contributing to building self-esteem. Happy children grow up to be confident adults and we at Acden are proud to be any part of this”.
